Red Star News Network (Reporter Song Yating) reported on July 22 that classic elements such as Van Gogh's sunflowers and Vermeer's girl wearing pearl earrings are perfectly combined on a rabbit. This is exactly the original IP created by Sichuan Rammaru Culture Communication Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Rammaru Culture") - "Big Maru Doll". At the recently held 19th China International Cultural Expo, the related series of products of "Big Maru Doll" were popular, and all related peripheral products were sold out before the closing ceremony.
Fang Zixi, General Manager of Rammaru Culture, told reporters that Rammaru Culture is an innovative cultural content operator dedicated to creating cultural IP for a better lifestyle. While creating local cultural IP, Rammaru Culture also carries out secondary development of massive cultural elements, bringing rich and diverse IP themes and materials to the brand. In 2020, Huowan Culture was awarded the title of Chengdu Copyright Demonstration Unit. In 2022, it was awarded the title of Sichuan Province Copyright Demonstration Unit and Annual High tech Enterprise. For enterprises in the cultural industry, copyright protection is a mandatory requirement that must be followed within the industry, and it is also a basic rule for the long-term development of enterprises. If enterprises want to commercialize cultural values, they must take it as a basic task, "said Fang Zixi.

Entrepreneurship originates from professionalism
Bring original IP to the international stage
In 2018, Fang Zixi, who was still pursuing graduate studies in France, commissioned a friend to establish a company in Chengdu. I majored in journalism for my undergraduate studies, and when I went to France for my graduate studies, I chose the direction of cultural heritage museum communication. At that time, we spent half of our time studying in museums, so I learned a lot about the theoretical knowledge of foreign museum cultural industry systems and their market-oriented operation methods. "In the early stages of entrepreneurship, Fang Zixi set his sights on the cultural industry track. My entrepreneurial goal is to write my own graduate thesis on the historical development and trends of the museum cultural industry
With a goal in mind, Fang Zixi quickly began to take action. Before graduating and returning to her home country, she began project coordination and signed an IP art copyright contract with a French artist. We licensed the copyright to a Hangzhou company, who used the art IP for the production of related home products. Later, the art home merchandise sold for about 4 million. After graduating and returning to China, Fang Zixi continued to explore the cultural and artistic fields, including the planning and operation of cultural and artistic IP projects, public art curation, and cultural and creative services.
I am actually a 'Rongpiao' and chose to start a business in Chengdu because Chengdu is rapidly developing in various fields such as culture and economy. In Fang Zixi's opinion, Chengdu's advantage lies in its cultural content. It is a city with many excellent historical and cultural carriers and cultural resources. Chengdu is attracting young people like her to come and take root. These carriers and resources, we call them 'warehouses', which are also the source of all cultural industries. It can be said that Chengdu has a good entrepreneurial soil
Fang Zixi told reporters that since 2019, the team has been working on projects related to IP authorization and IP co branding, including artist's art property authorization and art property authorization, as well as commercialization of commercial brands. In June of this year, the 19th China International Cultural and Creative Industry Fair opened in Shenzhen. More than 30 cultural and creative enterprises, bases, and parks from Chengdu participated in the trade fair. As a company from Chengdu, we attach great importance to participating in this cultural expo. The exhibit we brought was our original IP brand 'Da Wan Wo', which was also highly sought after at the exhibition and sold out on the third day. Fang Zixi introduced that the 'Da Wan Wo' brand is created around traditional elements of the twelve zodiac animals, with trendy and youthful creativity and design. In order for us to also plan to open offline physical stores, we will continue to express Chinese culture in the design of our cultural and creative products in the future
Join the International Authorized Copyright Association
Copyright protection is a mandatory requirement for the cultural industry
IP, That is, intellectual property. The most important aspect of IP authorization is copyright protection.
When it comes to copyright protection, Fang Zixi told reporters that taking "Daimaru doll" as an example, it has registered nearly 20 different types of trademarks, and more than a hundred art copyrights have been registered. In the company's rules and regulations, we require all employees to register copyright, and at the same time, we require the design team and colleagues who operate intellectual property to regularly register and update relevant copyrights
Valuing copyright protection means respecting and encouraging knowledge innovation.
Fang Zixi has always been very concerned about Chengdu's intellectual property policies. Since last year, we have seen a continuous introduction of more comprehensive and vertical policies, which is a very positive thing for us. In Fang Zixi's view, copyright protection is a mandatory requirement for enterprises in the cultural industry and a basic rule for their long-term development. To commercialize cultural values, enterprises must make it a fundamental task.
In July 2022, the first "Panda IP" art exhibition in China, the "Black and White" Panda Art Creative Exhibition, was officially launched at the Dongjiao Memory International Art Exhibition Center. The exhibition showcases over 600 pieces of art, once again demonstrating Chengdu's strength in building a world-renowned cultural city. It is worth mentioning that the curator of this exhibition is Fang Zixi.
The success of the "Black and White" Panda Art and Creativity Exhibition has strengthened Fang Zixi's determination to spread Chinese cultural IP overseas. In March, I went to France hoping to connect our excellent cultural projects with local institutions or museums, and promote domestic artists and excellent local IPs to go overseas. Fang Zixi said that the company has joined the International Copyright Association and will take this opportunity to promote more resources for international cooperation and exchange. We want to create a cultural industry oriented original IP, then export international culture, and ultimately push outstanding local original IP representatives onto the international stage
